How To: Add a Screenshot

Screenshots are a good way to get an idea of a map before downloading it.  Sometimes funny moments happen or even times we are proud of.  It's time to start pressing F8 while in game and capturing some shots.

Once you've taken a screenshot you'd like to upload follow these steps.

1. Browse to \America's Army\Screenshots\ {each image will be numbered}
2. Right click your file and edit the image.
3. Reduce its size so its no more than 1000px wide while keeping the aspect ratio.
4. Save the image with a more meaningful name and change the file type to a "jpg, png, gif" format.
5. Now goto our screenshots page, down the bottom is a control box.
6. Make sure your logged in. UPLOAD Tab.
7. Browse to the file you saved in step 4.
8. Enter a Title and description for your file.
9. Click Start Upload.

If your screenshot is one we should add to a map entry drop a comment on the map with a note to which screenshot and we'll update the map entry to display your image.
