The main changes are: -Eliminated team Charlie. -Added Team Delta, equipped with M24, which must reach the upper entrance by going West of the start point and then proceeding North, past the river head. -Added some Decolayers to make the environment more realistic especially outside NW. -Minor Changes: -Added some Static Meshes, like the armored Stryker for Teams insertion. -FXs like water splashes in river's stream are placed correcly now. -Darkened terrain in river banks. So, who is the author? Because I give credits to authors when I add their map to the tours.ini file. Yeah, I was doing some changes to the map in AA Editor but still couldn't resolve the issue of bots not firing at the VIP. I did however adjusted the amount of bots that spawn...originally there were 382 or so bots that spawned all at once...yikes, major server lag and crashing. More...

Hard to play, that was the point! Anyway, It was my first time taking a current map and making it a CO-OP. I was the original author...well, I uploaded the map to AA Mission Depot a few months back. It was basically a wash... I was just using it as a template to learn from. Haven't done anything Since, it is really time consuming. I the map should be fine now, what happened is one of our admins uploaded the file before it was on the server with the tours.ini update. Once the server restarted and the new tours.ini file was read by the game it all worked as expected. Sorry for the trouble but this will happen from time to time. I use the twitter account to mostly post when I actually know new maps are working on TT1 or TT2 servers. But if you dload the map, other servers may have it running and restarted with the new ini. Player not qualified ! When running unauthorized custom maps, turn off authorization by editing the ini file used by the server. Yes the "invisible" ground is right there.
As always I used what I call "long range" m4, the one with trijicon and bipod, and in my opinion the advantage of spr/m24/m82 is the pinpoint shooting capability. I mean, in the time you shoot those 3-4 rounds needed to kill an enemy with a 5.56, you and others are exposed to their fire; sniper rifle's greater magnification could avoid this but, at the same time, marksman should be covered by the teammates, since its semiautomatic fire, adding even more teamworking in the mission.

Zonker and Snake, read your comments, just deleted the old version of the map they were on :) The map in fact is a "port" from cod 4 (overgrown) so I guess the vibe did translate well... where are the spots with the odd volumes? I did put a couple around the power lines at the crash site mainly to keep players from climbing on them and then being able to run off the map. Not quite sure what to do for the difficulty as I already have 90 or so bots, but the ammo issues I've fixed in this new version. Snake, I did consider adding an SPR, but there aren't really any advantages over a M4 with bipod, even more so because SPR is limited to single shot. A M24 or M82 I thought might be too powerful but I was also thinking of forcing the sights on the M4s (reflex, red dot) and 203s, and then having a "sniper" slot with the M4-acog-bipod combo The invisible ground is if you turn around at spawn and run up the hill, right? Just tested it, as always I noticed something wrong in a - very - nice map. First of all, weapons. As said in the briefing, your team will have the support of Advanced Marksmen, which means at least an SPR. Well, same old story, there isn't. I love teamwork and so, but in a map where enemies can kill you the very first second you see them appearing from the fog (and sometimes even before), having the same capability could really make the difference between finishing the map in 7-8 players, or on your own (and bleeding). AR is helpful, instead with the M4 you'll need to be accurate and fast as few times before. A marksman slot would be nice because there are a lot of OBJs placed everywhere in the map. advancing with someone who covers your back is something good IMO, considering there are several roofs and nice places to spot from. There's also a "invisible" ground right to the start behind the pines - walk there and you'll leave a crater. However it's a nice and tough map! GJ! More...

Quality map, Contrails. I'm not sure if your intent was to create some measure of a WWII/COD vibe but I really liked the terrain/atmosphere. You must have spent a lot of time getting things just right! There are a few spots with odd blocking volumes but overall, this is a really nice map. I only have two concerns - too easy (played it solo and eliminated all enemy forces on 2nd try) and not enough ammo (need at least 2 breaching charges; three would be ideal). Great looking Map KMAN, not that i would expect anything less from you though! All your maps are brilliant! I have had it running on my server a few times, and it tends to crash the server after a few rounds. Not sure exactly what it is, but it is the only map that crashes the server so far. I also agree with the other comments about having a sniper, needs one at least. Preferably with a secondary weapon, but can always pick up dead bot / team mate's weapons though. Been playing the Castle with the KWK guys lately and think its great..... Very hard attacking upward all the time which imo is the great thing about... TEAMWORK is a must on this map !!!!! First Impressions: Nice map, environment must be "polished" , now it's quite cheap considering other maps, but the castle is good looking imo. Suggestions: I° Advanced Marksman: at least one, maybe spawning right of the usual spawn near those rocks outside the village, providing cover from the shots fired from the castle. II° Parachute insertion: while one of the teams would breach the perimeter from the ground, another would land on the top of the castle and start clearing it from above, giving at the same time the capability to land almost everywhere in the map if needed i.e. to help the members of the ground team if they're pinned down; III° this is the best one: the last 3 members of a chosen team would spawn 100-150 meters behind the village, on the hill, and will cover the insertion of the 2 teams with several (yeah, that means 15-20 for EACH SOLDIER) RPGs fired at the castle, making as much damage as possible.
... ..maybe I just have to stop taking those medicines. More...
