Due to some virus, I've lost everything in my Program Files folder, including america's army 2.8.5, my own maps and all that stuff.
I've trashed everything now, computer's fine and lighter, so the only thing I have to do is DL AA again and all the maps... but it will take some time.
I hope to be back soon, sorry for that guys.

Well, here I am, anonymous all right. With guys nobody really cares about. They come from the end of the line, most of 'em. Small towns you never heard of: Pulaski, Tennessee; Brandon, Mississippi; Pork Van, Utah; Wampum, Pennsylvania. Two years' high school's about it, maybe if they're lucky a job waiting for them back at a factory, but most of 'em got nothing. They're poor, they're the unwanted, yet they're fighting for our society and our freedom. It's weird, isn't it? They're the bottom of the barrel and they know it. That really sucks, Snake. I'm sorry to hear that. I know that it can be a pain to recover from that sort of thing. I'm fairly sure that Chevy's download site ( chevys-place.ucoz.com/) has the necessary files to reinstall your AA game. As for the maps, you can download them individually but there are a lot of custom maps, of course. To save you some time & trouble, I'm putting together a complete custom map pack that has nearly every custom map (as far as I know) as of today. Once I have the map pack compressed into a single file and uploaded, it will be available here:

FYI - the uncompressed files are roughly 1.9 gigabytes so I'm using 7zip to create the archive since it uses a better compression algorithm. If you don't already have 7zip, you can get it here:

It's definitely worth it.
One final note - given the size of the map pack, I'm going to upload it overnight. By default, you won't have permissions to download the file but I'll correct the permissions in the morning once the upload is complete.

Last night's upload choked at 60-something percent. The upload error might have been due to my nightly virus scan which, considering your recent troubles, is a bit ironic. Anyhow, I'm retrying via a command-line utility...

I really appreciate what you're doing, considering I didn't ask you to do it. Thanks mate, it would be useful to keep at least a link to your pack on this site, just in case someone else need that.
Anyway, plus than a GB of Maps is a looot of space, never thought that before.

No problem, Snake. I'd been thinking of creating the map pack ever since I put together the alternate download system.
