Authorisation failure 7 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi guys,

Keep getting 'Authorisation Failure. Player is not qualified for this mission' kick when I switch map to interception.

Can anyone see anything wrong with this:

* ## AAOTTS MissionID: 125 Author:
MissionTitle(99)=interception.aao
MissionMBSTitle(99)=interception.aao
MissionImage(99)=None
MissionMapFilename(99)=interception.aao
MissionNMLFilename(99)=/

Works for everything else I do it for but for some reason not this map... Or am I missing something else? (and yes I did increase the Nummissions )

Cheers

In your setup try to replace interception.aao for Interception.aao mapnames in tours.ini must be the same as mapnames in mapfolder.

Well, finally worked it out. It seems putting .aao on the end of this particular part was the problem.

MissionMapFilename(99)=interception.aao

Even though I have it like that for some maps.... Random...

Hi Goabski, yes spot on.

If your running a different set of maps you can try the custom tours.ini generator. It will take a text file of maps and return a tours.ini for you.

aaotts.com/downloads/custom-toursini-generator.html

Just looking at the page, my sample text has .aao in it.

I just typed it up rather than doing a copy and paste from a real ini... so if you used that as a guide sorry. I'll change the samples on that page.

Cheers

Hi TT,

I did use the custom tours.ini generator initially then there after cut'n'paste new maps manually after uploading them - works 99% of the time so happy with doing that.

Forgive me if I'm being stupid - I'm not overly computer savvy, but what do you mean by a different set of maps? different to what?

Clicked that link and I really don't remember it looking like that! No idea what a csv file is, has the generator changed? looks complicated.

Cheers

Hi mate,

It hasn't changed there are 2 versions.

The one you normally use via the download tools section.
And the Custom Tours.ini which uses a csv.

The csv version was requested by admins who are running a different set of maps to AAOTTS, by this I mean they have more or less than us and don't want the default ini generator.

So with the csv version you make a text file with your maps listed 1 per line. Then uploaded to the server, which will then give you a tours.ini for those maps listed in the file (csv).

In summary, you can continue to use the original tours.ini generator and manually add in your extra maps.

TT
